SMMW 44 and 70 tonner question

Has anyone installed DCC w/sound in either the SMMW 44 or 70 tonner resin kit? Thoughts? Pros/Cons?

There is plenty of room, if Bachmann can do it in their HO counterparts. I would think a DCC board for HO would work since small can motors and Athearn HO motors were used in the kits. I'm planning on doing a battery/RC version of the 70 tonner.
