So I have a new 2007 Legacy GP 30 recently acquired from an auction house. Performs great in every aspect other than non-smoking issues now. The beginning was 15 drops of fluid and it smoked great and heavy. I always make sure there is smoke fluid in the unit. I have made sure that my trainmaster command settings is for the highest output of smoke. The fan is running and I can feel warm air blowing from the stack with my face. Thinking maybe it was flooded out I turned it upside down but no fluid came out.?. Should I disassemble the unit to try to get a better idea of what’s going on? Have a hard time believing that the wick is burnt. thanks

How much fluid did you add after the initial 15 drops?
Especially if this unit has sat for a while...30 drops won't hurt
The smoke fluid had to go up in smoke or leaked into the locomotive. It is not unusual to need 15-30 drops of fluid, especially if you have it set to high or you haven’t run in a while. If you are not getting much smoke out, check the batting for burning and also make sure the batting is not blocking the passage from the fan chamber.
