i have a sanfe 2903 proto one engine that i had converted to proto 2-engine runs excellent but, after i shut the engine down using the dcs system, the smoke unit stays on-just barely-just a trickle of smoke comes out of the smoke stack-very minuet amount-the smoke fan is not running-i even shut down the smoke unit down using the dcs system before shutting down the engine completly-is the board defective-engine runs without any problems otherwise.

Tom,

I wouldn't worry too much about what you are experiencing.  I have seen this on several PS2 engines, where I turn the smoke unit off...and then a trickle of smoke is around the stack.  Eventually it stops entirely.  I see this with some of my heavy smokers.  I would not be alarmed by this.
