Me and my family just returned from a few days in the Great Smoky Mountains. I booked a trip on the Smoky Mt. Railway "Polar Express." It exceeded all expectations!!! BUT THAT IS NOT ALL...Next to the train depot in Bryson City, NC (where we boarded the Polar Express) there is a rail road museum. In this museum is a fantastic O scale layout along with 100's and I mean 100's of Lionel & MTH locomotives and rolling stock around all four walls. It is the best collection of O scale trains I have ever seen. IT IS WELL WORTH THE TRIP to Bryson City to see this layout and collection. And the icing on the cake was stopping at Legacy Station in Atlanta on the way back home...that place is everything a train store should be.
