Based upon the current forecasts, it appears the Northeast is about to be hit with a pretty substantial snowstorm. Considering the severe weather many of us have recently experienced, a lot of folks are understandably on edge. To help lighten the mood, I thought it would be fun to check out some action in the snow. Prototype or model - my own layout is set in winter - let's have a look. It's all fair game.

Actually plowing snow on a backyard G-gauge railroad, that's impressive! It would be interesting to know more about that operation. Are they running on track power or batteries? Maybe the snowplow includes a squeegee to wipe the rails dry? I would be concerned about getting moisture in all the locomotives from the snow. Blow it all off with compressed air and maybe shoot some WD-40 into the works after the plowing.
