Great thread. Thanks for all the cool photos.
Nothing fancy, here "it" is.
If you expected any snow your crazy...
I used to love it. I'd even icefish without a shanty and drive my dunebuggy around in it for laughs (remove the windshield, and don the goggles, no hope of it being clear) Channels like Brian's pics leading to the Mich.Upper Penn. cabin door. That's about all you saw some years, the door. (and peak with the attic window used to exit and dig down from.. You gotta start somewhere )
Hard to believe Con Culhane moved his whole RR and logging operation across that mess; but frozen cedar swamp beats summer muck for a temporary roadbed.
I now hide from the cold and pray it only snows on the 24th and 25th of Dec. each year. Torn diaphram+ more, I lost the ability to shiver my core let alone shovel.
We only got enough snow on the southwest side of Detroit to creep past the soles of my sneakers. But it's still cold enough I stayed inside. The mastiffs didn't even want to stay outside; "strictly business"
... No don't! It's not spilled beer
