Maybe something like this. Today at the Springfield show I bought this "non scale" auto carrier brand new and picked up an old junker AF box car with trucks and knuckle couplers. I mounted the trucks on the car and the video is the result. You be the judge but it will work for me especially for the price! Sorry about the speed of the engine;still need to put speed control in it from ERR.

Did you mount the trucks to the original truck holes?

No. I had to re drill holes closer to the ends of the car. The couples would have been to close. Easy enough fix.
