The title says it all.

I plan to order at least one - have been on vacation and no one is at home to receive packages, so I plan to order the passenger set, or both, just before we head back and I know I'll get home first.
I'd love someone to post pictures of them next to other Lionel Berks or the Williams Berk.
From what I've read it doesn't look like the Cent Club Berk. Did the latter not look more like a 736? Dick
Is the CC Berk offered as a loco only, or just in the two new sets?

New Berkshire has a differnt headlight than the Century Club version.
Sure looks different to me:
Getting back to the title, I have both.

They do look good, I admit. thanks for the picture.
But I'm an idiot to have missed the fact that it had no sound except bell and whistle - glad I read this first. I just didn't pick up on or think of that. I suppose I could run a tender with sound behind it, but I think I will pass. I like the new NYC Water Level set, which has sound, and think I will wait and buy one of those - scheduled for April which is not that long to wait. Yes, it's a Mohawk instead of a Berk, but they both have the same number of wheels, just in different places, and it looks as if it will be good looking, and it will definatley have Railsounds
Thanks, John.
Yes, bought them both.

Sure looks different to me:
The century club berks used the boiler front from the 2055 type postwar hudsons. They don't open up (at least not on the 2055's). The CC berks have the proper berkshire boiler front with the opening smokebox door.
If anyone else has purchased the Lionel 6-38308 berkshire passenger set check to see if your Manhattan car has Manhattan on both sides. Mine does not.
