I bought this 500 series stake car on EBay cheap but it didn't have the usual wood load. I could have found a repro load but I wanted something out of the norm. A PVC pipe load maybe? Nope. This is tinplate after all so then I thought; Copper! I picked up a 5' length at Lowes on my way in to work and some clear coat. I cut 9" lengths and glued them together. When all that was dry I gave the pipe a good Scotch bright rub down then 2 coats of clear coat. A little bit of cheep jewelry chain from the craft store to tie down the load and this is what I came up with. Sorry; the picture is a little dark.
