Before I install a Protosound 2 Upgrade in my Protosound 0-8-0 switcher I need to know if there is a PS2 upgrade file that has the same whistle that is in my existing engine. The engine is #30-1124-1 and the recommended upgrade file has that high pitched switcher whistle. Is there an upgraded file with similar full throated whistle? This video is the easiest way for me to make sound file.

Hi Susan, that whistle is unique to Protosound 1 QSI. I have not heard that whistle in any PS-2 files. There is a USRA 0-6-0 file with a lower pitched whistle that works fine in a 0-8-0.
