Sound for MPC 783

Man, ERR would be a simple simple install, …..and if you decide to add chuff, the sound board will support it, …..a much better solution than trying to find True Blast,….

I'm with Pat, the ERR RailSounds Commander will give you a full sound package and much better sound while you're at it.  I'm not sure that the True Blast Plus is even made in a steam version, all I find are the diesel versions.

I agree with the above posts.  I added the full ERR package (command and sound) to my 785 and I love it!

Let's go all the way, upgrade to ERR command, install a fan driven smoke unit, the Chuff-Generator and the Super-Chuffer II for a full upgrade!

Actually I've decided to do nothing with it after all.  Normally I run the loco with the sound off but happened to turn it on yesterday.  It stopped working and I thought about maybe putting in a sound unit.  Instead I'm going to put the money I would spend on a sound unit toward another loco with sound.  Thanks for all the responses.

671/681, if you want it I have the SOS board from the 784 B/A Hudson. I’m sure it’s the same board. You’ll need to solder your tender tether to it. I’m pretty sure it was working when I removed it for my upgrade. If you want it send me your address to my email and I’ll mail it to you.
