Yesterday afternoon I spotted a post for a Premiere single Southern F3 on the FS board. It is one of the newer 'untethered' F3's from MTH and I have not had any experience with them yet. I wrote and offered to buy it as I don't have any really recent PS3 locomotives and was curious if I'll encounter any significant differences from the several PS2 models on our roster.

This forum member was really together and had it to his local UPS facility before closing and it arrived here this afternoon on my back door step!  Slightly less than 24 hours.

That's pretty quick and slick service - Thanks a lot Ted!

I took her to the club meeting tonight and shot a few pics for you guys. Please note the Southern Bus at the station and the Buffalo Creek boxcar. We are housed at Buffalo Creek Vacations in Clyde NC.

Bring a locomotive and your family and stay in a real caboose and run your own train on our layout!

Darn, now I need to locate and acquire a matching dummy A or B to build a locomotive! It never ends...

Here she is relieving the venerable K-Line Circus RS3 for a test run around a couple of times

Sam, The F3 is really smoking up the place.  Looks and sounds great!  The RS3 is certainly a colorful circus engine.  The layout looks great!  I've said before on other topics you gents did a great job!

Buffalo Creek Vacations is on my list of vacation spots when I retire.  I'll be 62 in a couple weeks, so I don't know when I'll retire yet, but we are closing in!!
