There has been some turbulence concerning the Lockheed Martin site and this show and the related show for other scales.
Can anyone confirm that the O Scale meet is really happening and at the Lockheed Martin Rec facility.
Thanks.
I'm signed up for it and an email from them a few days ago indicates that it is still happening.
Hope to see you there, Travis!
Thanks Travis,
I hope to make it.
I just realized yesterday that it was scheduled. Missed the notices somehow. Plan to register in person. If you have any specifics on the layout tours you could easily email me I'd greatly appreciate it.
Email is 844bill@gmail.com
Thx and Rgds, Bill
Thanks for the great info, Phil. Have all I need. No need for further replies from anyone.
Texas and Oklahoma are in the Southwest?
i'm beginning to catch on why the rest of the world considers the US to be geographically challenged....

I guess us folks here in Arizona are somewhere out in the Pacific Ocean. Southern California must be halfway to Tahiti....
From Wikipedia.
The Southwestern United States (also known as the American Southwest or simply the Southwest[1]) is a region defined in different ways by different sources. Broad definitions include nearly a quarter of the United States, including Arizona, California,Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah. Narrowly defined, the "core" Southwest is centered around the Four Corner states, with parts of the other states making up the beginnings and endings of the Southwest. The five main southwestern states, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada, are also all considered part of the Mountain West as well as the Southwest. The total population of these states is roughly 19 million people
oh, well, Wikipedia, ...the absolute authority... why didn't you say so!
just poking fun at the big guy... i'm about as far south in California as you can get and i wouldn't want to be called a Southerner, either. just ask my brother who get bothered when i tell people he lives in the Middle East (Virginia).
I figured as much.
But, glad I looked it up and now know that we Texians(correct original spelling) are not really considered a part of or accepted by the Deep Southwest.
Back in the Bad Old Days we were never really considered part of or accepted by the Deep South either.
Maybe that's why we're called the Lone Star State.
