This seemed like such a good idea that I figured to give it a go.  For someone just getting started in the hobby, hopefully this is a small start.  All are fully functional, the only issue I see is the tank car is missing the ladders.

Just pay actual shipping and they're yours.  They fit in a Medium Priority Flat Rate Box, so $10.50 in the CONUS would be maximum.  If you're close, it may even be cheaper.

Respond here if you're interested.

Hello John Id love to take credit but this wasn't  my Idea it was started about a month ago When (scale rail)    started a posting asking people  if they would support A "free to a good home" section. And I have seen two other people offer this up. John I do want to thank you offering your items up for free. Thank you John.

Actually gunrunnerjohn and sp2207, a week shy of three months ago back on February 3rd, Perry1060 offered free of charge on this forum two new Micromark animation gear motors and even graciously paid to ship them. I know this because I received one which I used to motorize an auto turntable in my Krazy Kenn's showroom and Alex Malliae received the other which I believe he used to motorize a small waterwheel in a building he was making for a forum member.

Kenn  Like I said it was  (scale rail) that started  up this topic about a month ago. and we have had a number of guys offer things to other members.  And Yes I would Like to thank   (Perry1060)  for offering them to you  I think this is a very good idea and I'm hope this will be around a long time.

the topic was started on 4-3-13   and you guys and gals can read it in  the  forum suggestion box

John,

I'd like to take you up on your offer.  I've been thinking of getting into O-gauge. I have some HO, but I'd like to have something that my boys can "touch".  Plus I like the idea of a layout on the floor instead of a table so it can easily be changed.  I thought HO would be a good route, but experience has shown me that HO stuff is just too fragile to be handled. I've battled with the Lionel vs. MTH for a while now and have decided to go with MTH.  It seems that the "cover charge" is much lower for MTH equipment.  I want to start with a typical starter set and advance to two train control.  I have DCC on my HO stuff and it seems to me that DCS and proto 2 equipment is a little easier on the wallet than Legacy.  I just wish that MTH would hurry up and start producing proto 2 upgrade kits to meet demand.  I know starter sets aren't usually the best way to start, but I've priced out items in the set on ebay/here and the *new* set always comes out being the lower priced route.  I'll send you an email with my details.

Thanks!!!

Perhaps this was explained earlier in the thread and I missed it.

Not to be nosey, but you joined the site in 2000 @ 2am..anyone can check anyone elses posts to see what was said or "for how long"...sorry, not trying to freak you out.

Granted, the honor system is in effect here simply because someone can just join who's been into the hobby for quite a while...but they're still new here- right.

Me...I'm recently holding out for MTH PS1-2 boards and power trucks for projects and certain cars that we{son and I} don't have...I'm just picky that way.
