Spence, best wishes for a rapid recovery and good health for the coming year.
Spence,
Here's hoping for a quick recovery, we miss you.
Jay
Spence, I went through the same thing that you did. I know that it was extremely painful. I hope that you get better soon, as you are missed on the forum.......Brandy
Spence,
Just found that you have been ill, my wife dealt with this a few years back. Her recovery was complete, no restrictions on her diet, hope yours will be the same.
In our prayers, hurry back.
Ray
Spence, hopefully someone will show you this thread and all the well wishes.
I know from your photos and videos, your tastes in trains are different from mine. But NOT ONCE have I ever read a condescending comment from you about the many other preferences of running or operating 3-rail trains. That to me speaks loudly of having a good (and healthy) attitude.
Even doctors say having a positive mental attitude is important to recovery and healing from any health problem. So I would say you are on the "right track" to being back on your feet again.
Bob Severin,
Can you get us an update?

Can you get us an update?

Dennis
That's exactly what I was going to ask. Any chance you could email his girlfriend and get us an update? Thank you.
As many of us have experienced being in the hospital, it is no fun especially if you are in a lot of pain and I can only imagine its harder during the Holidays. Sometimes, you just want space to recover.
Spence, hope you heal and recover quickly. You are in our thoughts.
Ken

Thanks for providing the update Bob. Good to know his heart self-regulated and is now focusing on recovering from the gall bladder surgery. Here's wishing all the best to him again while on the mend.
Thank you so much for the update. I can certainly understand how, after an episode like that, a person would not be very interested in the internet.
Pete
Bob, thanks for the update, Spence we are all thinking of you, and wish you a speedy recovery
Alex
Thanks so much for the update! Having had my gallbladder out on an emergent basis I can attest to the fact it's no fun (and I didn't have to deal with the other complications Spence has had to).
One thing which I will always remember is on my first day of recovery on my walk around the ward I discovered a public computer for patients and was able to spend a short while reading this forum. Within the hour I had Mike Taylor on the phone wishing me well. It meant a lot the next day to also read all the kind posts from everyone.
Trust me--it definitely helps!

Bob, As the others have said thank you for the update on Spence's condition, I agree not to overwhelm Susan. When you think it is the appropriate time thank Susan for the info and update on Spence.
Ray
Thanks Bob for sharing the latest information about Spence. A ruptured gallbladder is no fun, never mind the other complications. I would not be surprised that he will be hospitalized for awhile and we wish him a speedy recovery.
Prayers and get well wishes Spence!!!!
I usually don't get many responses when I post pictures, but Spence is always there with an encouraging word. My best to you in your recovery.
