I have heard from a few friends that this show has moved towards more H O items that O . I haven't attended in a few years. Is this true?

It's always been a mix of all scales and gauges, plus 1:1 scale too!

It's majority HO and N scale. Always has been.
Its still the best show around
Biggest-yes.
Best- if your into HO and N
If your strictly O gauge its ok at best.
I went last year for the first time. Was planning to go this year but the weather reports scared me so I'm staying home (I live in the Washington DC Suburbs).
I thought it was heavy HO and N but still managed to bring some very clean Lionel Postwar last year. Personally, I thought the layouts were worth the price of admission alone. Some real talent - museum quality art - on display. The real steam engine running up and down the parking lot was just the icing on the cake!
The best thing is watching everyone jump out of their shorts when they randomly blast the whistle!! 😂🤣
Been going for twenty plus years. I always find something. With Four big O gauge dealers attending, there's plenty
Charles Ro
B& F Hobbies
Nassau Hobby
Grzyboski Trains
And Lionel, MTH, Atlas, Ross Custom switches.
Plus all the smaller dealers, to many to mention. So I'm really getting sick of there's not much O. People need to open there eyes, besides this show is more than anyone scale with all the Historical societies, tourist lines, work shops, and layouts in attendance.
Weather is just plan rain. No SNOW south of the VT/Mass line. Sunday sunny.
And only rain with a few flakes mixing in north...

Did I mention there's not much O ??
Seriously, I've been going since the mid-eighties. Back then parking was free, and you could pull right up to the building ( Only The Better Living Center was used at that time) and park. The there was more o gauge back then but never was anywhere near the HO and N scale. It is a great show. That's why even though I feel there's not a lot for me, I keep going back!

My comments were not directed at you but the others who have posted as much this year and in years past.
I wasn’t happy when they started charging for parking, it’s not just this show but all the shows they have through the years. They prices for table space are through the roof, but with all that it’s the biggest show in New England and vendors get put on waiting list waiting for space to become available. Attendance avg around 20,000 year in and year out.
Now watch the show live. I think this is the Young building
Ok does anyone know the restaurant in Chicopee MA that the NJ Hirailers go sat evening. I wanna piece of that huge ribeye steak they get!
I'm so excited. Today is show day. It's currently 3am. (I've been awake since 2am. I work nights, it's tough to sleep nights on my days off) I'm hitting the road South to West Springfield at 5am. So glad the storm tracked north, so I can spend both days at the show. Hope to meet some of you at Ross at 1:30pm today. I will try to get some pictures posted tonight once I settle into the hotel.
Safe travels to all!

For HO and N scale, just about anything is at this show.
I'm getting ready to go. It's not as cold as previous years...so far...knock on wood.
There’s a lot more to going to any show than wether there’s more or less O Gauge! Scenery items are spread across all scales. Tools, Kim’s Trains has a lot of Walthers HO details which are easily used for detailing O structures. Also, there’s great layouts in all scales to study for ideas you can apply to your modeling! I had the pleasure of visiting master modeler Dick Elwell’s HO layout yesterday and got tips from a hundred or so photos and my conversation with him! He is a true gentleman! Here’s a couple photos to share!
