I have three CAB-2 remotes that have all developed sticky hand grips. Has anybody else experienced this that can recommend a solution? I have searched the Forum without success to see if this has been discussed before, but maybe I'm using the wrong keywords. It's about 80 degrees in the train room this time of year which probably promotes the stickiness. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

As I said in the other thread, I just used 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove the sticky rubber coating. It left a nice looking glossy grip that doesn't stick to my hands any more. It's not that difficult to remove.
Thanks GRJ. I'll get some 91% alcohol. Sounds easier than blue Windex.
With a rag, it just took me a few minutes to shine them up and remove all the gooey rubber. I haven't missed it.
