Strange noise

Hello I’m running an older MTH railking blue comet it does not have PS1 it has loco sounds I notice when it’s in neutral it’s making a strange noise coming from the engine anyone have any ideas what this could be?

It sounds like your smoke unit fan motor is making some noise.

A small drop of oil on the motor shaft may fix the problem.

I can hear it too when you ran the engine although the chuff noise was drowning out the first noise.
