Just reminding you folks !!! This Saturday April 22 nd is the Strasburg o scale meet. Lets support this meet so we can keep it going. There are not that many 2 rail meets locally anymore. Bring all your gold and some of your junk, there are buyers and traders waiting . Hope to see all you folks there. Wishing you all the best! Franky-Ogee

Dear Frank and the 3 Marty's,
Thank you for mentioning about the show.
As of tonight we have 90+ tables sold and are sold out for Saturday's show.
Bob Lavezzi informed me today he will have the remainder of the huge collection of our friend Tom Shore and many, many O scale structures for sale as well as freight, passenger and locos out the gazoo.
Always a great time at the show with our Strasburg Fire Dept. fine Amish cooking.
Email me -jdunn8888@comcast.net or call me 609-432-2871 for any additional info.
Thank you !!!! John / Rich
........and Tom Shore always had a wide assortment of unique, hard to find and one of a kind items. Tom provided me with some nice stuff. Saturday will provide great picking.
What a turn of events. It was Tom who helped widows sell off collections, now it is Bob's turn to help Tom's widow.
The comment about Tom Shore is sobering and a reminder that you cannot take this stuff with you pass on. It also makes me think more collections will become available...IMHO
There is always estate stock available at these shows, not so much because of the frequency of them coming to market but rather the enormity of the stash most of us have.
The last estate clean out I did took 12 loads in my GMC van.
Always good and unusual pickings at our 2 rail shows.

Indeed, I'll be bringing a bit of my own to sell.

And usually a good assortment of detail parts for finishing out those projects lingering in the basement shop,

thank you! I was thinking it was a little later but I am going to try to make it. I e always wanted to attend this show.
Brother love. you would be a big hit at this show . seeing what you do and probably taking orders for cars you could create. let me say that the show is well attended and you will meet some really nice folks. I wish you could come up and I am sure quite a few other modellers feel the same.
COME ON UP!!! Franky-Ogee
Brother Love, Why would you come all the way from Mississippi to go to the Strasburg show, & not the TCA meet in October? Just curious.
Why not Chicago in March?
Dick
I was just there...Would have loved to have seen BL and some of his efforts there. Would have made this show a lot more interesting. Can't usually, never have, made that summer show. Second the comment on the March Meet.
Malcolm,
There is another Strasburg train show on October 14, 2017.
Chris,
No show in August?

No show in August?
You know if you all would visit the OST forum site once in a while you might actually get some useful information now and again....and you'd see this flyer that's over there. Now you have the dates through 2018!

Maybe he's a scale modeler and not a collector?
Scale modelers, and not just them, if they build anything....structures for three rail, etc. need to attend March Meet, Indy, and these.
BTW, this was a very good and well attended meet!
Thanks to John and Rich for continuing to organize and operate these meets.
Does anyone have any images of this show to share with those of us too far away to attend?

Yes Sir,
Last Octobers show was covered here:
Thanks, John.
I wish I could have been there.
Cheers
We are planning on the October show. We have been planning a vacation to that area for sometime and will try to coordinate that with the show. I was not planning to attend as a vendor but as a buyer of 2R treasures!
