regarding my hudson. I want to remove the MARS light for a prototypical 40's look, however I can't remove the automatic train control box without damaging the paintjob. Would it be a monstrosity if I remove the MARS, but leave the ATC? The front of the boiler is removable, this means I can just disassemble, fill in holes and re paint. Opinions?
Santiago, I'm not an expert, but I think the ATC and MARS light were added at about the same time. If you want to be prototypically correct, you should ask that question on the CBQ - Yahoo Group.

Thank you, Ray. Maybe I'll just leave it as is and forget about it.
