Suddenly overwhelmed with adds

A windows pc with an ad blocker is best, followed by an iPad. I don’t think that looking at the OGR on an iPhone is satisfactory.

It was actually do-able before the ads.  Now I don't even bother.  This isn't a commentary on the ads but just my experience using a phone to view the forum.

I haven't complained about this because I understand it is necessary for the continued success of this forum but I noticed now within the last 2 or 3 weeks it is not even viewable on my phone anymore. My phone is all I have ever used as I rarely use my home computer since I am not home often.

I'm not complaining I just want others to know if you use your computers at home or work you will have much better success.

Brad and Marty, I don’t have a home computer only use the phone. When this first started it was a PITA, but downloaded the DuckDuckGo Browser and no more ads!

I did not know about the change by Google and thought that I had probably done something to my phone. I will be patient and hope they get it resolved.

I had to turn off my ad blocker for this site in order to see the advertisers at the top of the page. Now I get all the darn adds all over the screen. It really is not a problem on the deck top or laptop, but reading OGR on my I Phone is almost impossible. I usually do not use my I Phone for that, due to the small screen size. Now, with the ads, I just don't use the phone for this at all, so it really is not a problem. I realize the ads help support the forum.
