After listening to Matt Forsyth's Titan in a PRR L1s, the QSI Titan-U will be the migration path for most of my steam locomotives (7 of which are currently running with NCE 408SR non-sound decoders).   Here is a link to Matt's sound video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwClY8e79KY

The Titan U is an aftermarket HO decoder capable 1.5A continuous and 2A peak current.  Most of my O scale can motor powered steam and all my diesel locomotives fall within that current profile.  For those requiring more current I'll go with the QSI Titan Magnum "large scale" decoder. The QSI decoders provide excellent motor control and downloadable/upgradeable stereo sound. See the QSI Solutions web site for the list of available Q3 Emulation Technology(stereo) sound files. In the Titan line the same decoder is used for steam, diesel, or electric - just different sound files and settings.  If you decide to go with QSI decoders I recommend purchasing their Quantum Programmer.  With a USB connection between a Windows PC and a programming track you can download and install the latest sound files, adjust settings, and test your locomotive through a user friendly interface.

In looking at your roster it seems the only Titan Q3 sound file not available is one for the doodlebug.  I face a similar issue with my Sunset Doodlebug and plan to load the non-stereo Q2 doodlebug sound file on a Titan-U in the interim.  When the Q3 stereo sound file is released I'll download and install it using the QSI Programmer - without having to take the model apart.
