Good morning everyone. I will start off with some walnut processing bins I am constructing. Six of them have an offset-cone type bottom that will dump the walnut shells onto a conveyor. The other three tanks will have flat bottoms. There will be a diamond plate top platform with conveyors.

Thanks Al for starting this off today!!  Great model you are working on as always!

My contribution this week...."One of the citizens of the city is in the park downtown walking his dog while in the background his wife and daughter are about to have a cool treat on this hot summer morning...."

Things people do on a Sunday afternoon:

Folks in Downtown Square are just visiting with friends and enjoying a nice quiet read by the bookstore . . .

Little Johnny still can't get courage up to enter the dirty book store . . .

"Honey, think of it!  I'd drive it to work every day and you and the kids would have the Buick all the time."

Nice contributions today!

Alex, that structure would make a nice trolley barn as once stood in Concord (Clove Rd) where the SI expressway is now.

K- LINE and this K764 “O” series car was ahead of the competition until the sharks put

them under. No one else has made this modern type of 40’ car even today.

Special yellow aging process applied!

Alex, check out the sign on the truck.

Ebay car # 828...

don't forget the theatre chase lights actually worked.  Lou used fibre optics and a color wheel under the layout if memory serves me right.

Alan, whats the status of the layout today??

Rich - I really like the new building that you are working on and have a spot ready for it.

Peter - I love that church and it's setting.  Plasticville never looked so good.

Alan - Great scene from your friends layout.  It must be a little frustrating to be an architect and try to decide what's "good enough" in model buildings.  Like being a "rivet counter" in some ways.

Art....Lou's layout was truly one of the nicest I have ever seen.  Lou was a true gentleman and as you can see, did top notch work.  OGR did a video of his layout some years ago before he passed away.

Yep....for some reason the Scenic Sunday Showcase is getting a lot of attention lately.  I think folks are feeling comfortable in knowing that they can post their work here and feel welcome thanks to all of you!!...

We have so many talented modelers on the forum and it's wonderful to see them participate like they are.  I can't help but believe that there are as many or more that are "lurking" and haven't shared their work yet.  Hopefully if we can create the right atmosphere they will want to share their work with us and we will all benefit.

I agree that this section has been getting better lately and it is great to see.
