Good Morning Everyone,

I will start off today with a couple of pictures of a house model I am making in 1/4 scale. I have to put it on a shelf for a while in order to construct a model of a Flare for an oil industry consortium in Texas. The flare is approx. 300 feet tall. I am making a model of the bottom 40 feet and the top 80 feet using a piece of clear plexi-glass in between the two sections. The model will be about 30 inches tall when finished.

Let's see what you have been working on.

I have just completed a luncheonette owned by a customers father in NJ. The building had changed a lot so I worked off an old drawing the customer had made. Below are some pictures showing initial construction and the final product. Attached is a more more comprehensive article. Any questions on procedure, technique or glues give me a holler.

A triumph, Joe.

I just ordered some of the PS-100 sheeting. I think I'll use that for the Nighthawks Cafe Building instead of laser cutting it. It will actually cost less and I can get to work on it sooner rather than later. I also bought some styrene railing material based on Al's recommendation and two additional pump/motor sets. I need one more pumping station to get cooling water to and from the cooling tower. The Nighthawks building has simple windows and Grandetline or Rusty Stumps will work well in this situation.
