Excellent as usual Alan.

Finally finished the bridge supports.  It was a process when using leftover ceiling tiles and wood scraps for materials, but happy with the first attempt results. It only cost me the price of small jug of Sheetrock mud and two cans of textured spray paint.  Now I can finish the landscape under the bridge.

Thanks Alan! I’m thinking the pool hall might get replaced. I was actually thinking of putting an old style 4kV substation there. Not sure yet though. I am researching substations for a while before I jump in.

Sounds interesting and certainly would add some scenic interest and variation that would compliment everything else. My concern would be that the frequent visitors to the area might get into some trouble that might keep them lit longer than expected.

The scratch built firebrick warehouse for the Harbison Walker plant is being finalized this afternoon with black stone for the roof.  The warehouse began February 16th, my first building from scratch.   I had to order the firebrick stacks from a laser produced supplier from York, Great Britain. This lady in Britain has been great to work with. A supplier here in the States backed out on me after 18 months which was not a good experience.

I enjoyed seeing progress on the scenery projects today guys…

Wonderful work everyone! Elbow Room is a great name! Well late as usual this week but…..I finished a set of rollers?? (Not sure of correct name) that I saw on many old photos of the steel mill my grandfather worked at in Johnstown,PA. I made them using tinkercad and 3D printed using my Elegoo Mars 4. It took a while as I’m new using tinkercad, but I like how they came out. Should look pretty good as used rollers perched outside the steel mill that’s arriving this weekend! Have a good week!

It looks like you made a plate roller. It would be used to roll plates to a specific radius or to just flatten out wavy steel. It looks great.

Let me know if you pursue the sub station idea.  I took some photos of the old GE control panels in one of the old Cleveland Transit System sub stations.  Printed on film and lit from behind, it might make a neat interior.
