Looks great, Alan.......a great space and well-organized!

The basement and garage, where I do a lot of my stuff, is still under renovation. Hopefully, it will be done by the end of the month.

Here is a picture of the garage. The new LED lighting is great.

1F846ACF-1C93-49FD-BD17-9F0602C5DFDDto This week, I brought the city area up to street level with foam core board.

By looking the structures around and using templates of possible buildings foundations, I am deciding what I might need to look for at York.

Have a great and safe week, everyone!

Peter,  In your fourth photo down the red brick building to the left is nicely weathered!  I'm familiar with lime mortar bleaching out and whitewashing the brick.  I'm installing LEDs in my IHC Engine shed and 'NOW' it looks way to pristine.  I've never weathered anything before... but, it's off the layout... and, feeling inspired by your work, I'm going to give it a go!

Thank you.....that is one that I did with Roberts' Brick Mortar Formula.

The sign designation as Alan’s workshop is great, along with the rest of the designed workplace…

congratulations on the organization of your inventory Alan.

the Harbison Walker firebrick warehouse is setting in its designated area as of early this week.  I began on February 16th.  The scratch built warehouse, brick stacks, and pallets all took a while to complete.

Alan, the workshop is super organized. So happy you have a spot of your own to make beautiful models! Enjoy!

Peter, your town is coming together, and your buildings’ detail is an inspiration.

Since we are showing our nice neat workshop areas, I’ll contrast with my messy one. As you can see, this is an area of my basement where two of my hobbies collide…..model trains and precision shooting. My reloading bench is off to the right in the last photo and currently is over run with trains. lol

As for this week’s progress. I had my first bout with covid after 4 years in people’s mouths at work, never got it…..until two days ago. Anyway, all I got done this week was finally getting accessory power on the layout expansion to some buildings and the steel mill, including the blast furnace. Alan’s mill is amazing, I’m just adding my touch to it………
