Good morning from Finland. I have recently built the first tunnels of my layout. There will be streets, houses, a bridge, and background buildings on the upper side. The urban area is planned to continue in the next module as well.

Apologies......I have not had a chance to position my next building (by next week for sure).....so, I'm reposting a shot from yesterday......"Delta Lines lives again!"
......a Weaver Delta Lines box car at the Oblong Box Company.....
Have a great Sunday!

Gorgeous, and I love to see the trains leave the main train table over a bridge or ramp and go somewhere, anywhere, disappear, and the come back. Arnold
Johan,
Your new addition is looking good.
Brian,
Your work is fantastic.
What a wonderful start.
Alan the dairy is fabulous. I don't recall seeing it before, could be I missed it, could be my brain doesn't remember 10 years ago.
Johan great urban tunnel. Did you carve it out of foam, plaster casts, how did you make it?
Peter nice job. Your OBLB thread is next up for me this morning.
aubv, that blended seamlessly.

Joe,
Thank you. The tunnel is a 3D print, painting and preserving were also nice work phases.

Progress on the Happy Valley Railroad has been painstakingly slow, and I'm embarrassed to say it's been MONTHS since my last post or update. But here are a few photos of the progress I've made on the mountain area that occupies one end of the layout. The animated icing station is a hoot, with a scratch-built "Frosty's" ice house.
Two years into the project, with still a LONG way to go.

I hate to be nitpicker, but my English teaching days break loose once in awhile.
Did I miss something or did you really misspell DAIRIES?

Of course I did. I made this model about ten years ago. I looked at the spelling and thought to.myself that it is not correct. Both I and the customer missed it. Other than that, I think the model looks pretty good.
Trying to stay busy this week and ward off the Post Marathon Blues.
Working on a block of ameritowne fronts for a Christmas modular show. Doing it quick and dirty, this is mostly spray paint work. Hand paint the window frames and some details, then call these good enough.
The bakery continues. Spent a while figuring out what to do with the loading dock on the back. That didn’t go as smoothly as the main building. Some of the walls were warped and I broke a few cutting them down to height. It just comes with the territory. Nothing too obvious or unfixable.
Today was a big leap, it got a plywood base, then a quick coat of tan spray for an undercoat, and now it’s finally brick red. I know it’s a mess, it’s fine right now. The magic comes in the weathering coats later. I have faith in the downtown deco painting instructions. They haven’t let me down yet.
This will now get mounted on another base which is big enough to include the sidewalks, loading dock and the track behind the building, like a diorama. I got a box from plastruct yesterday which I hope is most of the parts to build storage silos. I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing with that. Gonna wing it with a little help from a Walthers kit as a basic guide.

Pretty good? You, sir, are not only one of the best craftsmen I've seen (In many fields) in my 80years, you also are master at understatement.
And for what it's worth, I've seen 1:1 scale signs misspelled as well, so you're prototypical in the regard, too.
Tom,
Thank you very much for the compliment. I really appreciate it.

Greg,
Thank you very much, I appreciate your feedback. If you are ever coming to Finland, please contact me and I can certainly arrange a few nice visits and maybe a trip on the museum train.
