Good Morning Everyone, here are some pictures of the almost completed building I have been constructing. Let's see what you have been working on.

Nice! Are those LEDs that you installed? It looks fantastic!
Mark,
They are leds. I still have to install a ladder and platform to the dust collector and make a sign.
I am glad you like it.
This view was taken from the rear of my 10’-by-5’ layout looking southeast. The Chromium Process Company (center), Bridgeport Tool & Die (lower left), and the truss bridge are scratch-built. Jenkins Valves (upper left) was built from a BTS kit.

Alan, that building could also be a cannery, mooring slip where tracks would go.
Alan - beautiful work. I have the same kit but since it is for me I have had it for a while and no time to build. Hopefully down the road I will make time.

Melgar - that is a neat structure! Scratch built or kit?
Joe
Nice structure, reminds me of a building from Frank Ellison's Delta Lines layout with a lot more detail, keep up the great work. Best Regards; Gene
Good eye Gene. I believe this building is part of Dennis Brennan’s tribute to Frank Ellison series. I think there is a total of four different structures in the series.

The bridge, the red/brown factory in the center, and the brick/green factory at lower left are scratch-built.

Wow Alan, outstanding! I really like the additions you made. The details make this building much more interesting. Where did you run your lighting? And what kind of lights did you use? I like the details you added inside the Bay door. Great signage too.

Andy,
My customer gave me a set of led string lights that has a battery pack. The pack is installed under the floor in the foundation and attached with two way tape. There are two lights in the first floor and an additional one in the door where the boxes are. One light hangs down in the car bay and five lights are in the second floor.

thanks i'm hope to get it finished this winter
Thanks Alan, adding those details really takes your build to another level. Wow. With all sincerity, I think you should write a book on scratch building, detailing, weathering, etc. I think OGR should publish it. I know that I’d buy it. Or at least have a running series in OGR magazine, or perhaps your own column. Darn good information.
