Being as this is the early four fan version, they should have been numbered 500 - 505. Any numbers above those were the larger 48" two fan versions. I don't know why the black background was missed on the side heralds and the handrails not painted black.
Look at my pictures of the front and rear appear to be made like a number plate casting with the outer circle and letters highlighted instead of a flat disk with script logo painted on. I’m going to take some spare discs from a Red Caboose GP-9 and use ShellScale decals. Overall it appears to be a very nice model just needs that N&W tweaking. The steam generator exhaust stack needs to be shortened.....razor saw here we come.
