In figure1of instructions Pin 3 of hd1 shows a 470 ohm resistor to ground, while figure 2 does not. Which is correct? I want to make sure it is wired correctly, currently I have it without the resistor. Thank in advance, Judd
Rev. 2 Super-Chuffer boards don't require any load on the headlight input, you don't need the resistor. You can tell if you have a Rev. 2 board as it's silk-screened on the back of the PCB. If you have an older board, you can use a .01uf 50V capacitor, it's a better choice. Some of the early Rev. 2 boards got out with an incorrect diagram in the documentation.
