I have run in Normal mode for 10 years; however, in the new layout, I will be needing to utilize the features offered by the Super TIU setup. Barry's book (2nd edition) has the topic on page 112 -113 but it does not address the TIU numbering. I am going to add my 2nd TIU at TIU #3. I do not want to change TIU#2 address to #1 to save all the engines loaded my handhelds using TIU # 2. Will this work in Super Mode?

Why not make your newly added TIU #1, and then your "old" TIU will remain unchanged at #2?
Or make the old TIU #1 and the new TIU #2. Its too easy to change the address. It took you more time to type this post than it will to change the address of the TIU
Unfortunately, whenever I have changed a TIU address (easy) it deletes all the engines associated with that TIU in the handheld.
TIUs can have any number from 1-5 and may be added to the layout in any order. Just don't duplicate a TIU #.
Thanks Barry. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I have the thought that in Super TIU mode all the engines were associated with one TIU (e.g. TIU # 1).
Nope. A DCS engine may be associated with any TIU under either normal mode or Super mode.
