A ES10 is moving the snow plows out so they can be serviced and readied for the winter.  The engineer is wondering why they are bothering with this since they had so little snow last year the plows were never used.

EMD Switcher 1000hp is a Lionel NW2 Phase 5.  The Pennsy owned Ph 1 (1 total) and Ph 4 (31 total), but did not own any Ph 5.  Not sure if any manufacturer has produced a NW2 Ph1-4 in O.

I thought about trying to make it a Phase 4 by putting the notch in it, but I would probably make a mess of it.

Hey Coach Joe!   Nice looking switchers.. especially the Coors!  Good to know you were on the search for SwSat earlier today.    I actually posted Switcher Saturday 10/5/24 Edition  around 11p.m. last night.   The thread had a good amount of activity this morning.  Not sure how you missed it but thanks for posting a safety net.

Coach Joe - A fool you are not!  No worries at all.  I'm just happy that SwSat means so much to you!

Just know I usually post SwSat around 11 p.m. ( sometimes earlier ) on Friday night.  I do this because if there is anything within my post that needs fixing/editing  (ie: photos missing ) I have time to fix the problem.  Since I have to leave very early for teaching on Saturday mornings, there may not be enough time to fix a problem as sometimes in the past the fix has required considerable time.   There was a time in the recent past where I posted SwSat late Friday night and lost the entire post.  I don't know how that happened because I certainly didn't press the delete button .. LOL!   I assume it was the internet gremlins  So I had to go back and recreate the entire post ... which took a train load of time!  At least I had time to make the fix so folks who like to view the thread early on Saturday mornings could do so.
