Here is a short video and photo of switchers working on the Free State Junction Railway Mt. Division as WM center cab switcher exits tunnel before traversing the bridge and Canton Switchers on the mainline in Patsburg, Md.

those are some mighty big engines doing switch work! Thanks for sharing the pics, best...Rich
BNSF Clyde yard is good size. My guess these units do a lot of transfer work and its nice to have some horsepower when you need it.

Great video/picture Patrick, we saw the bellman bridge at Savage Mill again today, it's a special treat to see your video and the real deal in the same day!

So, what did you buy?

Hi, Tom.
My spending was very minor. In addition to two DVDs covering the final years of CP Rail's MLW diesels by Broken Knuckle Video, I was also able to pick up a book I've wanted for awhile. It's titled "Where Rails Meet the Sea" and is an interesting coast to coast review of rail marine operations including everything from car floats to railroad owned steamboat lines.

Sorry I didn't jump in on the fun as usual yesterday but I was on the road at the "Big E" show at West Springfield.
Bob
Geez, Bob, I never even thought of asking if you would be coming up here to the "Big E" show...I could have just handed you the 2 books you bought from me! Were you at the 2 PM OGR Forum photo gathering? If so, I may have been standing within a few feet of you...LOL!!
Hi, Joe.
You're absolutely correct. I have no idea why I didn't ask if you were going to be there! I wasn't present for the group photo but it would have been easy enough to arrange a meeting. Oh, well.

Thanks Rich! I wish I had known you were in the neighborhood, I live a half block from the Savage mill. You could have also had a tour of Patsburg and the Free State Junction Railway while you so close. Let me know when you come up this way again and you can stop by, view the layout and talk trains. I'll be at the Great Scale Model Train Show next Sunday Feb 7. I know that is Super Bowl Sunday, however, I'm not a sports type of guy. If you are planning on being there perhaps we could make a plan to meet that day. I know you had suggested meeting up in a reply a few weeks ago and I hadn't got around to replying until now. Glad you saw the Bollman bridge today, both the prototype and the model. Thanks too for keeping this great thread going each week!!
