Did this crane come with operating instructions of any kind that someone would like to share?

My recently purchased crane did not have any, however I seem to recall a reference to instructions in an article about this beauty.

Trial and error may work for Pugsley on Adams Family, but I prefer to avoid a run amuck crane if possible!
