Taking the Plunge

Well, after years of procrastination I am finally taking the plunge.  I have been using TMCC for many years now and have continually delayed transitioning to Legacy.  To be honest a lot of the delay had to do with product unavailability but admittedly a lot of it was also just plain inertia on my part.  Now after reading Nicole's and Gunrunnerjohn's positive postings on the benefits of the Legacy Powermaster  I went ahead and ordered a couple of 'em from Wholesale Trains and Pre-ordered a 990 system from Nassau Hobbies.  I know what this means of course; a new round of Legacy engine purchases.  Just when I think I'm out they pull me be back in!!!

OKHIKER,

   I ran DCS only for many years, I pre-ordered the new Legacy from Charlie also, I wanted to add Command Control FasTrack switches to my Tin Plate Chritmas layout and then I saw a Legacy Shay run at the Train Show in Monroeville, Pa, and that's all it took to expand my layout.   Now I am even harassing Rich into making a OGR Video Guide to Legacy.  I am blaming all this layout up grading on gunrunnerjohn and Nicole also, dispickable train people both, I think they both own stock in Lionel & MTH.

Pine Creek Railroad,

          No question about it Nicole and Gunrunner are directly responsible for this latest crack in my armor.  They do know how to weave a spell.  Now that the die is cast I am just itching to get started with the Legacy control system.  Unfortunately, since I have to wait for the system to arrive its an itch I can't scratch.  If I have a nervous breakdown in the interim I hope they both will at least visit me in the " Light Factory".
