Just finished some tank car repaints. I removed the bright garish (IMO) paint jobs and gave them a more realistic and work-a-day look, again IMO.

Delaware & Hudson oil tanker unit train crossing the beautiful Hudson River:
You know where there is a spectacular view of the Hudson River? On top of a hill in the parking lot for people visiting Sing Sing prison in Ossining, NY. I discovered that as a young attorney visiting a client who had been convicted of Manslaughter. I was handling his appeal. Thank God I lost! LOL
Back to trains: what is great to watch are the freight trains that run along the western side of the Hudson River. Others have told me that the Hudson is as beautiful as the Rhine in Europe.
