Hmmm, the fire truck must be about S scale, O would be two inches wide.

Very cool.

Fire engine looks good .... I like the red and black paint job ....  however, where  is the siren and emergency running lights? 

Will this be part of the new firehouse announcement?

GCT has never been done often, properly and/or affordably in "approximate O". Of course it would have to be severely compressed (many buildings are), and for years I hoped that MTH would do one in injection-molded plastic, but that's a real pipe dream now, as it ever was, apparently. I would have paid a substantial price for one done typically-MTH-right.

There was a small one done by TWTrainworx that was "affordable", but was too ill-proportioned to accept, and had a level of workmanship/mold design quality that made it look more like an "arts and crafts show" project than a model. I wouldn't buy it at any price.

Someone suggested Buffalo Terminal above. I wouldn't buy one. I would buy GCT.

That looks great.  I didn't even notice it was missing a siren, but that would make sense to have on it.

Really nicely done flat car with Firetruck.  Menards is spot on as usual.  Indeed just as DMASSO noted, is the firehouse up next?

Looks great. Having worked for International I can tell you the things like sirens and emergency lights are done locally. So having it shipped from the manufacturer without them would be pretty normal. 

Same for tow trucks etc. 

That's it ??? 

Too bad the NYC NEVER used that paint scene on freight cars!  Lost me on that one. 

Agree with Melvin P. The paint scheme looks like a poorly applied decal rather than a heat stamp.  That's just asking for tearing.  Disappointing.  The NYC Mountain Dew truck was already in production; they could have just changed vehicles.

To all who have a beef regarding the "non-scale" size of the truck, the NYC applique on the flatcar, or whatever, remember, these are TOYS and a $20 toy at that.  If you have trains and a kid who loves fire truck, he/she wont care about any of this.

Well, here ya go guys, pictures of the real thing. And, the paint job is very nice too.

Works for me, and I collect NYC. But then I don't look for everything to be a perfect reflection of use to be.  That railroad is long gone.
