Well, it was sort of a quiet roll out. I say that because if I hadn't looked at the recent topics on the 13th when Chris posted, I probably would have never seen it until I got the TCA email that contained it. There is a possibility that you all may get lucky and find one from a shop in PA that maybe ordered some(as long as they could). The only other thing is to hope for a second run. Maybe message Stu and see if he is going to consider a second run maybe the next time they can do these.

Have no fear; Stu has a plan.

Has there been any discussion about having more made?

Yes.  When Atlas does their next run of snowplows (I'm guessing a few years from now), we'll have options.

Is it typical for clubs to make the bare minimum to produce an item like this?

Yes.  When the market demand is uncertain, the conservative approach is typically the one taken.  Most clubs, dealers, and businesses would rather have a sell-out then have a project in the red financially becuase there's inventory on the shelf.

Here is our first review of this model!

Thanks for posting the video.

Coupler or no coupler - decisions, decisions...

When an item comes with swappable parts,  I usually store whatever is left over inside the car, since the box could disappear.  Often, I put these parts in a resealable plastic bag, and sometimes I tape it to the floor.  It looks like interior access can be achieved by opening the wings - is that correct?  Or is it easy to remove the body from the floor?

Any chance more will be produced? Had no idea they were being done.

Chris covers that in the video. While they only produced 100 I believe, that is because they were not sure if they would sell out because they have to pay the entire cost whether they do or don't. There probably will be another run, but that will be down the road at some point in the future maybe at the least, 7 years as they wouldn't want to crowd or flood the market too quickly.

A most interesting point Dave.

We understand it is hard for group or store to commit with no guarantee of success regarding the 100 quantity. Does that therefore imply if the demand is far greater - that rerunning that item in the year or two would be in poor taste to those who would like to order one and missed out on the first run?

I look at this from both sides as I like to purchase custom runs. Either way, a good discussion over your beverage of choice.

Either way, this Snow Plow looks like another hit.

It is also dependent on atlas rerunning this model. Custom runs are only able to be done in line with a cataloged item. So any future run will have to wait until we see the plow back in the catalog.
