Teen hit by train.

Someone was killed by an AMTRAK train in my hometown this weekend:

Maybe trains should be equipped with emergency high-decibel "blasters". Or maybe wearing noise-cancelling earbuds should be illegal outdoors.

Kid was already doing something illegal, and that didn't stop him.

How about maybe the stupid idiots STAY OFF THE RAILROAD PROPERTY!!!!!!

It is sad that the teen was killed. 

But on the other hand he was trespassing in a dangerous environment and doing something totally stupid.   We don't need more government regs to think for us and protect us from our own stupidity.   We need to assume that people can think a little for themselves.

That is already illegal!

Man thats sad.I know they shouldn,t been on the tracks.But I think what lend to this was his wearing headphones.If he haven,t had those headphones on.He or she would have had a better of geting out of the way.I think this will give the train crew nightmares another sad fact.

every one wears them I am a ski patroller and lift operation supervisor and I cant tell you how hard it is to tell someone that the chair is right behind them when the music they are listening to is so loud you can hear it,.. there was a time they had to have them off their ears before loading but that is no longer the case..

It is much worse when these idiots break the law and endanger the lives of others.
