I haven't been buying the yearly Christmas car, from Lionel, because they've been putting everything but "MERRY CHRISTMAS" on them. Well, this one has it so I am in for one.

I really like it. Colorful with neat graphics and it says Merry Christmas. The red trucks are cool.
I also really like the Peanuts Christmas boxcar. It also has neat graphics and says Merry Christmas. That's fitting since Charles Schultz had to fight with the network even way back in the 60's to have a Christmas message on the TV special.
Nice. I've been avoiding asking for a generic "holiday" car but I have also preferred the Angela Trotta Thomas cars instead. I hope she does more of them.
It is nice to see Christmas on Christmas cars. I'll probably be in for the Peanuts Christmas car. I'm glad Lionel has the licensing to use Peanuts characters.

When viewing the catalog, I noticed this car is one of the Made in USA boxcars.
I have collected the standard Lionel Christmas boxcars since the first cataloged one in 1986 (and have a few made before then). I will be in for the new car plus the Peanuts Christmas car and maybe the Coca-Cola car.
I agree! That's a really great looking car. It's so nice to see the words "Merry Christmas" instead of the more prevalent generic "happy holidays" on the "non-denominational winter holiday" boxcar. Like Larry, I've been collecting the Christmas boxcars since the beginning. This will be a nice addition to the collection.
