We had a great show with an exceptional amount of buying and selling this time. Great deals on the high line  as well as the run of the mill  brass. If you missed this one , you missed a good one.  Many called or emailed me to say how pleased they were with the show and the new venue and yes we will be back at the UAW Hall again next November.

Thanks to all for coming. Sam

My only concern would be that line in the Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald: "When the gales of November come early!" Can you say "Lake Effect"

Actually the recent meet date of the first Saturday in November has been an improvement from a weather-risk standpoint.  In earlier days -- as near as I  can recall I've been going to these for about thirty years -- when Bob Boeddener and friends ran the show, it was later in the month;  indeed, a meet notice I ran across today for 2000 refers to "...our customary pattern of the third Saturday in November."   I used to kid Bob about the weather, but in all the years  I've been attending this show, I can not recall missing any due to weather / road conditions, and I'm not local.  Obviously, one plans ahead -- a trait apparently most two railers share.
