First off I dont want anyone to think I am bashing any manufacturer. This is more of a question. I completely understand the differences between the two versions and the reason for price differences. That being said I dont understand why the POW/MIA was left off the Imperial version of the spirit of union pacific. It could not have made that much of a price increase to add one symbol from the actual paint scheme. I really love the engine for what it stands for but am dissappointed that this symbol was left off. Maybe this was already addressed but I missed it. I found mine used and was thinking it was going to have it. I am a proud veteran. I think it should have been on both versions like the real engine.

I didn't see the POW/MIA insignia near the rear lights until now. Is the insignia on the MTH premier (after viewing several youtube videos I see the POW/MIA on the premier version) and Lionel versions? Trainworld's video of the Railking version has a brief view near the end of the video of the rear area but it was hard to tell for sure that the logo is missing. If missing, it is obviously an unfortunate mfg error.
From Union Pacific's website:
Yes i have the imperial version and it is missing. It has a silver block there instead. The blue stripe is there like the prototype. Maybe someone can come up with a scale decal or something. I just care alot about the Vietnam Vets. I have some great friends from that era. I will be getting the black car and the rest of the cars in the future.
