Though very little of this has to do with trains, this link shows some really good work and really makes you think.

I guess the world has ended.

I don't worry about the end of the world. It will end when God decides it's time for it to end.
Darned CNN, beats me why they yanked the link so fast.

Scientist are always saying how the world is going to end in thousands of years, but they can't tell if it's going to rain next week. When they can tell me the difference between partly sunny and partly cloudy then I'll think they have a clue.
How philosophical!
"End of the world."
Whose world? The world of the dinosaurs ended some 65 million years ago!
Humanity? Been around a mere million years or so. We are "Johnny-Come-Lately!"
The Earth? Has about another six billion years to go before the sun exhausts its hydrogen and expands to a red giant, vaporizing the planet.
Will humanity be around to see it?
Hardly!
What will end "our" world, I don't pretend to know!
6 billion years? They still can't tell if it's going to rain next week. It's all educated guessing.
The end is coming!
Sell all your trains now!
Call me.
Seriously, no comments on the quality of the modeling in those photos?

The models and pictures are fantastic. I wish I could do that kind of detail.
Lee,
That is some serious modeling. I have seen similar modeling of scenes from the TV show "The Walking Dead". I don't watch that show anymore, but the artist that re-created those scenes did a remarkable job.
I can only hope to achieve that level of detail.
Larry
ps. Maybe this post is in the wrong category. Try posting it over in Scenery or 2 rail.
The end of the world?
So you're modeling the Penn Central?
