Can we please get a caboose for this? I seem to bring this up at the MTH booth every York.

Does anyone have a list of cars that MTH made that would go with this engine as well. I have several freight cars but hopefully someone has a complete list. Passenger and / or freight.
Marty, I think I might have a caboose that will go with that.

Did they even make one? The only caboose I've seen that has come close is too small and came with a set released about a year or so ago. They've made them in standard gauge I believe.
It is the smaller series. I will send you a photo today.
The caboose they make is the smaller 2600 series, not the 2800 series. The 2600 caboose matches the other 2600 freight cars they offer in the celebration paint (tank, boxcar)
I like the 2600 caboose because it seems like 2800 cabooses are too big for many engines. I notice this in a lot of MTH Railking sets too - the cabeese seem awkwardly too big for the rest of the cars... to me.

ps, Marty, I'm jealous, I looked for that loco for over a year... finally gave up!
2820...This looks to be the correct size.
2652...Actually looks small compared to the locomotive.
Here I believe is the 2009 DAP Boxcar.
The 2816 hopper. 2010 DAP
The rest I have in this paint scheme, a gondola, a hopper, and a box or cattle car were all DAP issues I believe.
Any one else have any additions? The reason I'd love to have a caboose is to run this "set" under the tree. The lack of a caboose has been both frustrating and IMO lazy on MTH's part. Since there hasn't been another DAP car issued can we at least finish out the set by getting a caboose? It's been 6 years since the engine has been released.
No additions but another comment....
Nickel details on some, brass on others... they should pack 'em with interchangeable part so all the cars in a train would be one or the other!

It will work with the cars. It's this years Railroader club car.

Close but no cigar. As much as I really like this paint scheme, I really want the one that matches the other cars.
