When I was doing gun shows, I would sometimes put a super-rare, impossible to find rifle at the top of my rack. It was there just to attract attention, and was clearly labeled "Not for Sale - Display Only." Of course guys would try to buy it anyway, but it attracted attention to related items that were for sale.
