Just wanted to tip my hat to all that participated in upgrading the forum.

The ease of posting picture's is a pleasure.

But beyond the new forum,The forum in general, for me at least, has been the best thing ever for linking all the knowledge we all have.

You can go on here with just about any problem, and usually get it solved.

The visual idea's are another,I have gotten so many good ideas on how to do things, especially  scratchbuilding.

I just did  my first scratchbuilt transformer, and just yesterday on the scenery forum I saw a tranformer built by 3Rail2 that is beautiful.

Once again ,Thank's webmaster, and everyone else behind the scenes

The more I use the new Hoop.La format the more I like it.

Thank you Rich for having the courage to make this move. I can do things I could never do on the old site without alot of aggravation.

I love the way the post look, the pictures showing who is on line not to mention the 100 X 100 Avatar format.

The only small issue that I have is that the new site page listing are very short. I mean it's not really that big of a deal but I use to like having the larger number of page one post.

Thank You,

Mario E.

I would give the new Forum effort a thumbs up. This is a wonderful free service that I appreciate and really enjoy. Thanks to all who were involved.

Change is difficult for many people. I see this issue everyday in my professional life. Even though change can make my clients' lives better, many have to be dragged and pulled to the table of change. Simply put, that's life.

This is my problem exactly!

I appreciate the relative ease of posting photos but had pretty much gotten into the routine of John's excellent J&C Studios (will his site still continue to grow now?) so it became easy.

At this age, having to relearn something to do with a computer is a big hindrance as this doesn't come easy! Hopefully, in time I'll catch up and be able to appreciate the new features many of you are praising. Am finding I'm spending a lot less time here however due to these issues.

All the peripheral stuff is VERY distracting and the page appears awfully cluttered. Am still having issues with the images being distorted horizontally. The blank avatars are just plain ugly - how about NOT showing them like the old site did unless they post a photo?

Lets just say its a good start. I noticed allot or redundant Icons, menu's, screens, etc.

Posting pictures is a plus,  but unfortunately I cannot post mpegs from my camera yet and have not had time to figure it out.

I am still miffed on finding threads that I replied too or looked at quickly..

I am bummed that our club logo cannot be displayed.

I am not happy with the adds being double displayed

I cannot read the threads with an I phone. the text cannot be zoomed into...

I wish the name of the poster was listed with the topic of the posting

I do like the latest thread replies on the forum right hand side.

Not sure I like the page background format... looks unfinished?

Do not like the "watch this topic: notify me about new replies"
