This is my perfect world. There arent any Democrats or Republicans. Nobody argues about politics, religion or the price of tea in China. The trains always run on time. The subway has the best interval in the world There is plenty of beer and nobody is hungry. There are a few rats but they dont bother anybody. The beach is never crowded and there is never a shortage of toilet paper

Hi Ben
Where is the closeup of you on the beach?
Best
Ben, Thanks for sharing your world with us.
Now we don't need any pic of you at the beach! (RAY!)
Ben ,
Couldn't agree more , there's nothing like the model train world. I love living in it, so peaceful and beautiful!!!

And that Challenger T/A never rusts !!
And nobody ages! THANKS, Ben, for sharing your "world"!
I see a White Castle. Are you *sure* there is never any shortage of toilet paper?
Ben Thanks for sharing.
Love those twin towers!
Couldn’t have been said any better. Thanks for posting it Ben.
Amen! It’s always great seeing pics of your club. Thanks for providing this fun break in the day.
Fabulous photos and fabulous narrative!! Thanks Ben!!!
There really are some fantastic city buildings on that layout.
Ben: Can you recall who built the Twin Towers and what medium he/she used? Very impressive.
Thanks.

*lol*..personally I think they should be testing White Castle against the virus, if anything can kill it that would do it
Very well done.

That entire building was designed by one of our club members John Eckrote He designed it using a simple CAD program called Delta Cad He built the interior shell out of wood and plexiglass We cut the shell out of wood on our laser cutter The first cut we used cardboard to make sure it fit Took awhile to do
Nice Ben. A great feeling.
Love those White Castles!
I am partial to White Castles myself! GLAD it is part of that layout!
I stopped reading after the first nine words. Sounds good! ;-)

The Twin Towers look fantastic. The cylinder building reminds me of Marina Towers. Great detail through out
I am very thankful to have my layout. It may not be perfect and pale in comparison to others but it’s mine. Working on the layout has given me a respite that was very much needed. The forum has also proved often to be a guiding beacon.
Great stuff Ben, that is my kind of place too! You made our day, Thanks!
Agreed.
Awesome Ben sign me up!! 👍
In my perfect world, all of my OGR friends would be just around the corner....

Bens there just look for the cooler! 🍺
Hey Ben,
How are you & the Family? Just wondering, some of the pics have members in them. When will someone look under the layout for a picture of me (tunnel rat). There is life under the layout!!! LOL! "I can core an apple, Ha Ha!"
I recognize that train in the first picture. Nice thought. I do keep the toilet paper supplied at the club among other things.

I'd be 6' 2", 180, with a 42 inch vertical leap.

@bluelinec4 brings to mind a John Lennon song.
Picture the train movement's click-clack in matching 4/4 time
But of all the items you list, in our real world the one I really wish we still have and all those with it...

But what about the roaches at the Castle? The one in Orange NJ was infested with them- at all hours of the day and night! Yet people lined up for those sliders!
