So, this year I joined NJ HiRailers. Then Covid hit and I haven’t been able to play! This really doesn’t count as something to whine about, as we’ve stayed healthy and employed.
This, however, is a model railroading forum.  I can share a video of out busiest Christmas layout, to date, and whine that my nieces, nephews and generally everyone else is gonna have to miss it. And we will miss them!
I hope you enjoy, we’be got 3 trolleys, a conventional loop, a lion chief polar express, and 5 DCS lines (2 with lash-ups).
Lotsa Christmas, lotsa USN, Some Pittsburgh and to welcome our future Son-in-law, there’s a Steelers caboose. Glad my daughter didn’t bring home an Eagles fan.

My bourbon car got drunk and dropped 1/2 a train. Spit with the eggnog car. Backing up to fix it.
Merlin, we use a mix of track. Started all MTH after converting from tubular in 2007 after buying first MTH. The raised loop, figure 8 and a few ovals are Atlas. I like the look, but can’t deny, it’s delicate with a dog, interested nieces  and nephews and me stepping through like Godzilla. I loop of Lionel, because.. why waste track? But Fasttrack is the noisiest. The Realtrax is starting to show wear from years of reassembly, but I use clips and store it in 2 and 3 piece sections.
Dave, we are Giants fans. Had one daughter go off to college in Boston and dabble in Patriots fandom. The other daughter went to Pitt and is marrying a Steelers fan. Yeah... I’m happier with a Steelers caboose.
Bob and Frank, thank you.
Gunny.... got something for you in the pics. With that name, I’m guessing your a Marine. In this house, we don’t forget why we can celebrate and are free  imageimageimage
