The railroad certainly did earn its nickname.
It is painful to witness the death throes of an East Texas backwoods shortline in the year of my birth. Good, hard-working East Texans went out of their way to accomodate some railfans. Bless their hearts.
Just love the way they carry a portable turntable to turn that engine around no matter where they are. Really enjoyed watching. Thanks for posting.
An inspiration for those guys who build and ride their own railrunners.
