I'm curious if anyone else has bought this blu-ray video, released by Madacy Entertainment? It's a three-disc set that includes brief (about 10 mins each, total 9 hours) documentaries of different railroads as well as a number of model train layouts. The documentaries are not bad, many of them as much travelogue as about the rail lines. The packaging promises "...a cavalcade of rail routes shot in high definition..." So far I've watched half of the first disc and none of it looks like high definition, but standard def upconverted to 1080i. I bought the set at BJ's warehouse at a bargain price of $8; if I had paid any more than that I probably would have returned it because of the deceptive advertising (the packaging doesn't state how many segments constitute a "cavalcade," so possibly there may be two or three in a row that are actually in true HD).
